Editorial: We call upon the international proletariat and the peoples of the world to make a successful International Day of Action on November 24 in support of the People’s War in India and against the “prahar military campaign” waged by the fascist Modi government!
The Committees of Support to the People’s War in India in Galicia and Italy have called for a New International Campaign with an International Day of Action starting on November 24 in support of the People’s War in India and against the new genocidal operation of the enemy “Prahaar 3”.
We from this tribune of the international proletariat greet this call of the Committees with deep emotion and high revolutionary optimism and call for support to make the International Day of Action a resounding success as a great and timely initiative with a just and correct content and condemn, brand the Modi government and the fascist government of Modi who leads the old Indian state in the service of imperialism, the native big bourgeoisie and the landlords.
This brilliant initiative of the Committees of Galicia and Italy has the full support and recognition of the Communist Party of India as we read in the communiqué that we have published in the past days and that today together with the call and the posters allusive to the campaign we publish in this same editorial section to highlight its importance and significance.
As the Galizia and Italy Committees write in their call: “In India a process of liberation of the oppressed classes is developing”. This is based on the peasantry and with the proletariat as the leading class, therefore, as the comrades write it is “very hopeful for the proletariat and the oppressed of the world, a revolution of new democracy through the People’s War led by the Communist Party of India (Maoist) and where the popular masses exercise the popular government through the so called “Janatana Sarkar” (Revolutionary People’s Committees)”. (Revolutionary People’s Committees) in thousands of villages in the liberated areas in many states of India, mainly in the central and north-eastern regions, with the backing of the people’s militia and the People’s Liberation Guerrilla Army”.
We repeat, the call is a great initiative of the Committees of Support to the People’s War in India of Galicia and Italy, which we salute and from the first moment we have been supporting with the publication of its call by these committees, with the publication of the press release of the CPI (M) : “Make the International Day of Action a success” on November 24 against the “prahar military campaign” carried out by the fascist government of Modi, 16. November 2021 and the posters it has issued for this campaign and international day.
Now, once again, we take a firm stand for the International Campaign in Support of the People’s War in India and for the International Day of Action and call upon all parties and organisations of the international communist movement, all revolutionary, progressive organisations and men and women of the peoples of the world to make the international day of action of this campaign on September 24 a great success, for which it is required to deploy all possible initiative with immense class optimism and all necessary revolutionary energy; developing in the different countries, in the countryside as well as in the cities, all kinds of actions and mobilisations to serve to smash the plans and genocidal campaign of the fascist Modi government and to win a new great international victory for the CPI(M), the people’s war in India and the proletariat, peasantry and other revolutionary classes who are carrying forward the new democratic revolution with people’s war in that immense country, which has an immense population, a vast peasantry that fights led by the proletariat and its Marxist-Leninist-Maoist Party with weapons in hand to conquer the land, to put an end to the domination of imperialism, bureaucratic capitalism and semi-feudalism as part of and in the service of the world proletarian revolution. With our international action we are inflicting a new defeat on imperialism, reaction and revisionism in this new period of revolutions.
We stress the importance of the people’s war in India for Maoism, its importance for the defence of Maoism against the new rotten revisionism, which denies the democratic revolution, denies the peasants’ struggle for land as the basis of the struggle against imperialism, in a word denies the world proletarian revolution by denying the main mass basis of the democratic revolution. Without leading the peasants’ struggle for land, any call to “fight against imperialism” is fallacious, pure demagogy to surprise the unwary.
Lenin pointed out that in the revolutionary movement there were two great forces: the international proletarian movement and the national liberation movement: the former is the movement of the proletariat throughout the world and the latter is the movement of the oppressed nations. Lenin said that it was a movement of great perspective and that it would make great contributions that could not be imagined at that time.
The international day of action has a great significance for the revolution in India because: In 2009, the Indian ruling classes framed operation Greenhunt (war against the people) with the aim of eradicating the revolutionary movement in the leadership of the imperialists. Countless international proletarian organisations, left organisations, democratic organisations and revolutionary organisations demonstrated and opposed this operation.
November 24, 2021 is the 10th anniversary of the cowardly assassination of comrade Kishenji by the old Indian state.
Moreover, as stated in the CPI(M) communiqué, it recognises the role of the convening committees as follows: in 2011, after the martyrdom of comrade Kisanji (member of the political bureau), in Milan, Italy, many proletarian organisations, other Maoist organisations and parties unanimously formed an International Committee for the Support of the People’s War in India (ICSPWI). For the last 10 years it has been supporting the People’s War in India with an international proletarian class perspective.
To conclude our call for full and unconditional adherence to the international Day of Action, we reproduce the final part of the CPI(M) communiqué:
We call upon the masses to intensify the mass uprising for the victory of the Indian new democratic revolution. Let us fight to the end and achieve the final victory.

Call for a new international campaign next 24th of November in support of the People’s War, against genocidal caimpagn “Prahar 3”
The committees supporting the People’s War in India in Galizia and Italy call on the international proletariat, revolutionary and democratic organizations to actively participate on November 24, 2021 in the campaign against the new genocidal operation Prahaar-3 and in support of the People’s War and the CPI (Maoist).
In India a process of liberation of the oppressed classes is developing, very hopeful for the proletariat and the oppressed of the world, a revolution of new democracy through the People’s War led by the Communist Party of India (Maoist) and where the popular masses exercise the popular government through the so-called “Janatana Sarkar” (Popular Revolutionary Committees) in thousands of villages in the liberated zones in many states of India, mainly in the central and northeastern regions, with the support of the militia popular and the People’s Liberation Guerrilla Army.
November 24, 2021 marks the tenth anniversary of the cowardly assassination of Comrade Kishenji. In these last ten years the party and the people’s war have suffered great blows but they have also been able to defeat all the genocidal operations unleashed by the Indian governments. The terror of the genocidal operation “Green Hunt” is well known , but the revolutionary movement faced it with the appropriate political, organizational and military tactics. In addition to the resistance of the People’s Liberation Guerrilla Army, popular agitation and the firmness and determination of democratic intellectuals, artists, journalists, students, workers and peasants from all over the world made it possible to stop the genocidal operation “Green Hunt”.
In these moments of offensive of the fascist government of Modi with the new genocidal operation, Prahaar-3, with the intention of the total crushing of the people’s war and the CPI (Maoist), as well as the fascist policies of repression against peasants, Adivasis, Dalits , intellectuals, workers, religious minorities and against the peoples of Kashmir, Assam or Manipur, it is more necessary than ever to activate all our internationalist solidarity to demonstrate to the fascist and genocidal government of Modi, that the CPI (Maoist), the people’s war that leads and the masses of India are not alone.
This November 24, 2021, we launched a call to carry out actions in embassies, consulates and other institutions and interests of India in the world, depending on the national and local conditions of each country, to be a fist of unity of internationalist solidarity to strike with determination the fascist and genocidal Modi regime and its new genocidal operation Prahaar-3 and to show with raised fists our unconditional support to the popular masses of India, to the glorious people’s war and to the party that leads it , as an inseparable part of the World Proletarian Revolution.

‘Make success the International Action Day’ on November 24th in opposing the ‘prahar military campaign’ operating by the fascist Modi government!
In 2009, the Indian ruling classes framed operation Greenhunt(war on people) with an aim to root-out the revolutionary movement on the direction of the imperialists. So many international proletarian organizations, left organizations, democratic organizations and revolutionary organizations came forward and opposed this operation. And continuing that, in 2011, Comrade Kisanji’s martyredom (Polit bureau member), at Milan of Italy so many proletarian organizations, other organizations and Maoist Parties unitedly formed international committee for the support of People’s War in India(ICSPWI). For the last 10 years it has been supporting People’s War in India with international proletarian class outlook. This organization is opposing Prahar-3 military campaign which is a counter revolutionary suppressive campaign of Indian Hindutva ruling classes. In opposing the Prahar campaign and for the support of People’s War in India, they decided to observe the International Action Day on November 24th(Comrade Kisanji’s 10th martyrdom day). Our party’s Central Committee is expressing revolutionary greetings to ICSPWI. The party is appealing to the county-wide revolutionary mass organizations, revolutionary people’s committees and PLGA to do make success the International Action Day. We are appealing to the countrywide revolutionary sympathizers, Left organizations, patriotic democrats, anti Hindutva secular forces, proletariat, peasants, students, intellectuals, women, minorities, dalit and adivasis to participate in it and make success.
In recent days the puppet of international corporate companies-the fascist Modi made MOU’s with imperialist companies. Modi had got the first rank in the world in selling the country and implementing fascist rule in India. Because of that, the international rating agencies are trumpeting Modi as the No.1 popular leader in the world.
On 26th September 2021, the chief ministers of 10 states of Maoist movement and higher officials in the chairmanship of central home minister Amit Shaw had framed counter revolutionary plan and telling it as a development plan in which the oppressive campaigns will intensify in central region of India. In recently on November 3rd they told that the forces are ready and 24 police camps would come in Odisha and Chattisgarh. There are no well-fare schemes in the so called development plan declared by home minister. Our party condemning this counter revolutionary onslaught and also appeal to the people of this country get ready for the solvation of life and death problems of the people.
Besides that, for last one year, the peasantry with strong determination and fighting spirit fighting against the anti-farming laws. On the other side the adivasis of West Bengal, Jharkhand, Odisha, Chattisgarh, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Maharashtra are fighting for water forest land and power. The government is deploying and establishing police camps to suppress the adivasi movement in Dandakaranya, Jharkhand, AOB, and Odisha. The movement against police camps in Silinger, Sukma district of Chattisgarh is continuing for the last 6 months despite facing severe repression. The aim of the Praha-3 campaign is to root-out the all types of mass movements. The Hindutva ruling forces are depicting the revolutionary movement let by CPI (Maoist) as a threat to the internal security. Actually, the fascist ruling clique of Modi and Amit Shaw are the real threat and most dangerous to the lives and property of the people of this country. The ruling clique is preparing to root-out the revolutionary movement without solving the life and death problems of this country. We are seriously condemning the nefarious program of the government and appealing to make success November 24th International Action Day. The Prahar and other repressive campaigns will not stop the revolutionary movements. We are appealing to the masses to intensify the mass upsurge for the victory of Indian new democratic revolution. Let us fight up to last and achieve final victory.
